Well done to this young lad for super listening, being a great friend and being a good role model. Marvellous work!
Well done to Thomas for good listening and following instructions.
The girls football team for winning 8-0 against St Jo's! And Matthew for his swimming. Good work!! This week we entered a Tennis tournament in Exmouth.
Here is what our roving reporter said: I was so proud of the St Peter's tennis team on Wednesday. They conducted themselves brilliantly, they were enthusiastic and obviously enjoyed themselves. The boys did particularly well, Nate playing as a year 4 boy, and Ollie was unbeaten. They should all be very proud of themselves coming second in the east Devon category. Now they are off to Plymouth to represent the school in the Devon finals! Amazing! I have to say it was pretty hard work for the support team......it was quite stressful! Now I know how Judy Murray feels! Needless to say, I was very proud of all 4 of them. Well done to Riley for a lovely Dragon story.
Congratulations to Darcey and Holly for their spelling success. Well done to Elizabeth and Cleo for their super learning attitudes. Joshua is a super swimmer! Coco, George and Annabel have been producing home learning of a high standard. Ruby and Evelyn concentrated hard and did some excellent drawing with pastels. And Benjamin did a lovely scrapbook. Well done all! Here are the latest fab pupils from St Peter's!
Joel for his rugby. Leah for her fantastic fractions. Elliot for his football and his rugby success. Isla for her efforts with her art. Lily for her amazing success at swimming: lots of 1sts and 2nds. Lois for her fractions. Marni, Benji and Jessica for super spellings efforts. Joel for his times tables work. Finlay for his swimming success. And Ruby and Jack for their great efforts on their shape work. George and Cerys have just played alongside the St Peter's Lympstone string group in their Annual Summer Concert at St Peter's Cof E Church, Budleigh Salterton.
They both lead the group and were a credit to our school. Thanks to Exeter Chief community coach Tom Viljoen, year 4 are excelling in tag rugby and rugby related mathematical activities.
Well done St Peter's for raising £110.44 for the Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
A big thanks to the year 4s for organising the doughnuts sale! A very special GOLD award to this young man for creating so many of his own ingenious musical instruments. A super effort - and some super music from them too!
