Annabel who has made great efforts with her reading. Evie for her efforts in class. And the girls: Ellen, Millie, Yasmin, Jasmine, and Carly for their amazing sentences!
Grace has read three books by Chris D' Lacey and has made two dragons of her own based on the characters in the book. What a star!
Isla and Lucy made a super children's book about moon cheese - complete with oragami inserts! Amazing work! Well done to this chap for his amazing piece of artwork. He reproduced part of a photograph in chalks. His work was much admired by his peers and the adults in the classroom.
Congratulations Joel for all the facts that you found out and reproduced so brilliantly about a water system (and I didn't realise how few rivers there are in Australia!). Well done to Stephen again - working so hard still on his reading. And then Darcy and Benji - showing you all on their fingers how well they did in their spellings - practice makes perfect!!
And the lovely poster about the school by Josie and Lola - including a well-worked poem. Good effort! Congratulations to Scarlett for your wonderful effort in writing.
Well done Amelia and Evie for your maths and singing. And Oliver - for getting picked out by visiting adults for his kind manners and being a good role model. Superb! A HUGE well done to Ollie - the second GOLD winner of the term.
He has completed every Beaver badge available, a first for the Budleigh Beaver pack. On top of that he became one of the first Budleigh Beavers to complete their Bronze Scout award. This takes a lot of effort, determination and brain power - we are very proud of him! These girls have been working their brains well!
Firstly, having a good think about how we might measure how long the ice in the science garden might take to make. They started with fingers, and thought so hard they eventually worked out seconds and minutes would be better! The second, for some lovely additions. Well done! Congratulations to Callum for your reading effort, Toby for your super writing, Millie for knowing that your brain is there to grow ("you can do anything if you put your mind to it"), Annabel for her reading, and George for his excellent efforts with his rainforest writing.
Well done to you all! |
To celebrate all that is wonderful at our school.
