Max for his improved behaviour. Lola, Oliver and Hannah Skye for their improved maths. Theo and Morgan for their Easter and football awards. Beau for giving 100% effort in all her lessons and making the best choices. Evelyn for her writing. Matthew for challenging himself. Jack for his reading. Bethany for her swimming. Rhianna and Oliver for working so well on their own! This afternoon, the children in Year 5 welcomed a large group of children from Lady Seawards school for an afternoon of music-making. Mr Moger Taylor led everyone in sharing their learning in Music. The sound of singing filled the hall, the violins played too. It really was a treat for all those involved and hopefully a link we can build on next term. To end the afternoon the children had a session led by Jane Parker. |
A huge well done to Brandon and Sam for their consistent improvements in reading (which has been demonstrated in their reading assessments) over the course of the year- two well deserved GOLD awards. Also Reuben gets a Headteacher's award for all the effort he has put into his reading- well done!
A huge well done to Alice, Jaykob, Kyle, Lucy and Courtenay for the huge improvements they have made in their English work. Keep up the hard work!
Ted and Shay were awarded Headteacher's Awards for their excellent Maths work. Their class had just begun to use arrays to help them to understand division. Ted and Shay showed a very good understanding of division and could use arrays to tell Ms Stubbs multiplication and addition facts. They were able to explain their thinking and reasoning , work well together and set themselves an excellent level of challenge (9x table and 7x table). Well done!
To celebrate all that is wonderful at our school.
