On Wednesday 17th October, sixteen pupils represented St. Peter's Church of England Primary School at the Stockland Cross Country race. As expected, the ground conditions were heavy. However, even those who had not run at Stockland before did not let the mud destroy their spirit and all our runners showed great determination in completing the course.

Performances of note included: Esme Kilburn-Thompson who won the Year 3 and Year 4 Girls' race; Toby Richards who came 8th in the Year 3 and Year 4 Boys' race; Lorna Gebbie who came 17th in the Year 5 and Year 6 Girls' race and Jake Yarwood who came 20th in the Year 5 and Year 6 Boys' race.
